Our Locations

• Head Office: Located in Te Puke, our head office serves as the central hub for all operations. We process all fault calls, project quotations, and administrative tasks from this location.
• Branch Office & Workshop: We have an additional office and fully-equipped workshop in Auckland to support our services in the region.
• Road Tanker Operations: Our dedicated LPG Road Tanker Operation is based in New Plymouth.

While all work is centrally managed from our Te Puke head office, our network of skilled contractors throughout the North Island ensures efficient and decentralised execution of services, providing timely support wherever it is needed.

Accreditations & Industry Membership

Liquid Gas Services is committed to maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. We hold official accreditations for:

• Accredited Trade Measurement Unit (TMU) Calibrations: We are accredited by Trading Standards – Ministry of Business, Innovation & Employment to perform TMU calibrations on dispensers, and LPG road tankers.
• Electronic Cylinder Filling (ECF) Equipment Calibration: We are accredited by Trading Standards – Ministry of Business, Innovation & Employment to calibrate Electronic Cylinder Filling equipment.

New Plymouth Tanker Operations

At our New Plymouth base, Liquid Gas Services provides comprehensive support for the Rockgas road tanker fleet.  Our dedicated team handles all aspects of routine and breakdown maintenance for the LPG road tankers.

Our New Plymouth team’s expertise includes:

• Breakdown Maintenance & Emergency Response: Rapid response to unexpected issues to minimise downtime.
• Routine Maintenance: Conducting essential 3-monthly checks, as well as mini and full surveys to ensure fleet safety and compliance.
• Project Support: We assist the Rockgas distribution team with special projects, such as the rollout of the BASE Remote shutdown system.
• We developed and facilitate a specialised training program which provides crucial LPG and tanker operation training to Rockgas drivers, scheduling staff, and management nationwide on an annual basis.  This training is carried out by Troy Ruane, Senior LPG Bulk Tanker Specialist.

We also have a strong working relationship with the Alexander Group, having assisted them in setting up and deploying their new fleet of Scania tractor units used for towing the Rockgas tankers.  We also assist Uhlenburgs with their tanker fleet from time to time.
