SERVICE TECHNICIAN

Are you a mechanical fitter looking to get out of the workshop?

Full industry training will be provided.

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join our North Island based team.  This is a unique position that will utilise your quality workmanship and problem-solving abilities. The work is varied and spans mechanical maintenance of LPG equipment & LPG controls.

Ideal candidate will have:

  • A range of mechanical skills and experience, enjoy a varied role and keeping equipment operational.
  • Fault finding skills on mechanical/pneumatic and electrical equipment.
  • Experience with maintaining industrial pumping and storage equipment within a hazardous area would be an advantage.
  • A full drivers license.
  • Great customer service skills and pride themselves on going above and beyond.
  • Initiative, be proactive with the ability to operate unsupervised but also be able to work as part of a team. 
  • Strong focus on health and safety, promoting safe working practices.
  • Full NZ driving license

Work experience suited:

  • Qualified fitter/fitter turner
  • Qualified fitter welder
  • Mechanical qualifications
  • Gasfitter
  • Mechanical aptitude

ELECTRICAL FITTER

Full industry training will be provided.

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Fitter to join our North Island based team.  This is a unique position that will utilise your quality workmanship and problem-solving abilities. The work is varied and spans mechanical maintenance of LPG equipment & LPG controls.

Ideal candidate will have:

  • Fault finding skills on mechanical/pneumatic and electrical equipment. 
  • Experience with maintaining industrial pumping and storage equipment within a hazardous area would be an advantage. 
  • A full drivers license.
  • Great customer service skills and pride themselves on going above and beyond. 
  • Initiative, be proactive with the ability to operate unsupervised but also be able to work as part of a team. 
  • Experience in repairing, maintaining and installing electrical equipment. 
  • Strong focus on health and safety, promoting safe working practices. 

Work experience suited:

  • EWRB Registered or able to obtain a current practicing license. 
  • Trade or Advanced Trade Cert in Electrical Trades.
  • Experience building Switchboards. 
  • Experience in the LPG Industry is a bonus but not essential. 
  • Residing in New Zealand, with New Zealand citizenship or New Zealand permanent residency.
