James Elliott General Manager
We are delighted to introduce James Elliott, who joined Liquid Gas Services as our General Manager in November 2024. James brings a wealth of experience and a fresh perspective to our team.
With a background in engineering, James has a deep and practical understanding of the LPG industry, having worked for many years as an LPG Service Technician. He also possesses extensive leadership experience, serving as a General Manager for several years.
James joins us with a clear mandate for change and a focus on continuous improvement, ensuring that Liquid Gas Services remains at the forefront of the industry. His leadership will be instrumental in driving our company forward and enhancing the services we provide to our customers.
Glen Hall Operations Manager
As our Operations Manager, Glen is a driving force behind our commitment to quality. He joined LGS in 2004, starting in the stores department where he gained a deep understanding of our operations. His hands-on experience and dedication led to his promotion to Operations Manager, a role he has held for several years.
Glen’s responsibilities include:
- Overseeing the daily operations of the business.
- Preparing detailed quotations and pricing for a variety of projects.
- Managing large-scale projects, including new LPG installations, equipment replacements, and equipment refurbishments.
Amy Stokes Works Manager
Following a company restructure at the end of 2024, Amy Stokes was appointed to the newly created role of Works Manager. Amy is a long-standing member of the LGS family, having previously served as our Operations Coordinator.
With over 15 years of experience in the LPG industry, Amy’s extensive knowledge and deep understanding of our field are invaluable. In her new role, she is responsible for the crucial task of coordinating and scheduling all maintenance, including the important 10-year re-valves and site decommissioning.
Additionally, Amy oversees our systems and processes and is also responsible for health and safety within our company, ensuring a secure and compliant work environment for everyone.
Shelly Priebe Administration Manager
We are pleased to introduce Shelly Priebe, our dedicated Administration Manager. Having been with Liquid Gas Services for over six years, Shelly is an integral part of our team. She is responsible for key administrative functions, including payroll, accounts, and all aspects of the company’s financial administration.
Shelly’s expertise and commitment ensure the smooth and efficient running of our business financial operations.
Leith Oliver-Gilchrist Stores Person
Meet Leith Oliver-Gilchrist, our dedicated Stores Person based at our Te Puke branch. For over two years, Leith has been the backbone of our operations, meticulously managing our inventory and overseeing our workshop.
Leith’s extensive knowledge of LPG equipment parts and strong relationships with our suppliers are essential to our success. Leith ensures our teams service vehicles are always fully stocked and have the right equipment for everything from routine jobs to major projects.
Lana Davies Works Coordinator
Introducing Lana Davies, our Works Coordinator and a vital part of the team for over three years. Reporting directly to Works Manager Amy Stokes, Lana is the person who keeps everything running smoothly. She handles fault and breakdown calls, assists with scheduling jobs, manages day to day project tasks, and assists with our health and safety processes. Lana is a key point of contact for our field technicians, ensuring clear and seamless communication between our on-site teams and the office.
