Lance Drake, CEO

Lance started out as a Service Technician contracting in the Gas and Oil Industry, whilst working alongside some other like minded people they quickly realised there was an opportunity not to be missed in the LPG sector and LGS was formed. Lance took over the role of Managing Director following the departure of Grant Ruane who relocated to Australia in 2002, eventually working his way up to CEO and also joined the Board of Directors.

Lance continues to work as part of the LGS team, overseeing some of the larger projects, co-ordinating Technicians for specialised tasks and regularly liaising with our Customer Management Teams.

Lance is always keen to lend a helping hand, assisting with onsite permitting and on occasions is even found in the stores looking for parts!

Glen Hall
Operations Manager

Glen joined LGS in 2004 as the Operations Co-ordinator who also worked in the stores where he gained the knowledge and experience to work his way up to Operations Manager a few years later.

Glen oversees the day to day running of the business, scheduling maintenance work such as 10 yearly re-valves and vapouriser servicing. Glen also prepares quotations, pricing and manages large projects including new LPG Installations, replacement LPG equipment, decommissioning sites and equipment refurbishments.

Like Lance, Glen is always keen to lend a helping hand either in the stores or heading out to site to help the team out delivering parts and other gear!
