NEWSLETTER FEB 2023

Well it feels as though Summer is officially over, as we move into March! We can all agree that it was not much of a Summer.

A series of weather events has reaped havoc across the North Island from Northland down to the Hawkes Bay causing damage to properties, infrastructure and some of the countries major food producing areas that will take years to rebuild and recover from economically.

By all accounts LGS has got off very lightly with most of the LGS Team not being severally impacted. However one of our Primary Contractors wasn’t so lucky and experienced serious flooding to their property.

OUR PEOPLE:

Congratulations to Tash on her achievement with obtaining her Class 5 heavy vehicle license. Tash recently delivered a LPG road tanker to Hawera to swap out with another unit prior to returning to New Plymouth under the supervision of driver trainer from the Alexander Group.

LGS is also very proud that we have another experienced Hazardous Area Electrical Inspector on board!

LGS is pleased to welcome onboard the appointment of a new independent Director to the Board of LGS. The new Director is involved in the Bio Gas Plant build in Reporoa that was commissioned last year, as well as being involved in New Zealand Bio Gas, Hydrogen, Methanisation and Bio-LPG.

OUR CUSTOMERS:

2023 is off to a very busy start with many projects for our customers underway. Below is a wonderful drone photo of a site in progress in the Waikato.

LGS 25 YEAR ANNIVERSARY:

This year marks the 25th Anniversary of the company which was incorporated in January 1998. It has been a real journey and we will be putting some thought into how we can celebrate this milestone later in the year!

HEALTH AND SAFETY:

LGS recently completed another round of the IMPAC pre-qual certification which is a requirement in order to be able to provide services to the majority of our customers.
